Shower's will continue to push through the area during the overnight hours. In most of the viewing area the precipitation will fall in the form of Rain, but area's along the I-40 corridor could see a Wintry Mix by morning. There has already been reports of sleet falling in area's around Hickory and Morganton. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from portions of the North Carolina Mountains from Midnight until 9:00am on 12/26/2007. I haven't really had time to post much because of the holiday's but I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's. I will post more information in a little bit about Rainfall totals so far.
